From concept to completion, the North Terminal Landside project redefined Gatwick’s infrastructure with precision and innovation. The development introduced a new multi-storey car park and a seamless North Terminal interchange, while Europe’s longest inclined moving walkways enhanced passenger flow. To ensure security and efficiency, bespoke vehicle-borne threat measures, new coach stations and redesigned drop-off points were implemented. With all travel routes reimagined and wayfinding systems installed, the project was delivered on time, despite the complexities of working in a fully operational airport.
